Privacy Policy for Blood Snap

Effective date: June 14, 2026 · Last updated: June 14, 2026

Blood Snap is a free wellness logging app. Your health readings are personal. We do not sell your BP, glucose, or weight data. The app is supported by Google AdMob on most screens; camera and voice logging flows do not show ads.

1) What we collect

Health data you enter

  • - Blood pressure, blood sugar, and weight readings
  • - Notes, meal context, medicine schedules, and reminder settings
  • - Account email when you sign in (email, Google, or Apple)

On your device

Readings are stored locally so the app works offline. When you sign in, data syncs to Firebase under your account ID. You can delete your account and cloud data from Settings → Delete Account.

2) Snap and voice entry

Snap entry uses on-device OCR (Google ML Kit) first. When you allow AI parsing, recognized text or a cropped image may be sent to Groq, Inc. to extract numbers — you always review before saving. Voice entry uses on-device speech recognition; transcripts (not audio) may be sent to Groq when you consent.

3) AI summaries

When you allow AI wellness summaries, plain-language text is generated via Groq from your logged trends. Outputs are labeled as wellness guidance only — not medical advice. Consent is collected in-app in Settings → Privacy & AI.

4) Third-party services

  • - Firebase (Google) — authentication and cloud database
  • - Groq, Inc. — AI summaries and snap/voice parsing (with consent)
  • - Google AdMob — in-app advertising
  • - Google ML Kit — on-device OCR for snap entry

5) Advertising

AdMob may collect device identifiers and ad interaction data. Your health readings are not shared with advertisers for targeting.

6) Children

Blood Snap is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
